Part 1: Getting Started

Ever wonder how TV lines (aka scanlines) are created? Using a few simple tricks, you can re-create a TV line effect and create professional looking graphics in no time!

1.
Create a new image, 200x100, with a blue background (#2F30A0). Be sure to use 16.7million colors (24 bit).
2. Now add some text of some sort. In the image to your right, I added some arial text with a black backshadow.
