Answers to FAQ
1. FAQs for Product Buyers
1-1 What is FresherImage.com?
FresherImage is a marketplace where you can buy or sell website and graphic design projects, and even post a contest for a custom design.

1-2 How Do I Purchase an Item?
You will need a free account to purchase an item. You can sign up for an account here. After you have signed up for an account, you can purchase credits here. Credits are the currency on FresherImage, and are used to pay for downloadable products or custom design posting fees.

1-3 Are There Any Membership Fees?
No. Membership is free, and you only need to purchase credits to pay for product downloads.

1-4 Do I Own the Item I Have Purchased?
You are purchasing a license to use the item that you download, but you do not have exclusive ownership.

1-5 What is the Difference Between the Download and Buyout Prices?
A Download price allows you to download a copy of the design for use on a single project, and the product will remain on the website for others to download as well. However, when a buyout price is available, it will remove the item from the marketplace so it cannot be purchased again, and you will be able to use the item for as many products as you desire, although you will still not be allowed to resell or redistribute the item outside the realm of “client usage”.

1-6 How Do I Get Support for My Product?
Each seller is responsible for the support of their own products. If you have trouble with an item, you should contact the seller through a private message on the “Fresh Message” system . You can also request support from the community by making a post on the help forums.

1-7 How Do I Get Support with the Website?
If you have encountered a bug, glitch, hiccup, gremlin, error, blunder, faux pas, malfunction, tick, issue, or calamity with the website, then you should open a support ticket. It’s OK to contact us with questions too.

1-8 How Do I Report Copyright Infringement?
Beneath the screen shots on each product detail page, you will find a button to report a case of copyright infringement. In order for an item to be removed, a full DMCA notice will need to be submitted within the ticket that you open.

1-9 How Do I Report Abuse or Spam?
If you have been spammed by another member, or you suspect any other form of abuse, simply open a support ticket.

1-10 How Can I Pay for Download Credits?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as Paypal, Google Checkout, and direct bank wire transfers (please see the credit purchase page regarding direct wire transfers).

1-11 How Do I Download My Item?
Just click on the download button next to the item you want to receive, and then choose the Download or Buyout option (if available), and your download will start automatically. If for some reason it does not, there will be a button on the page to allow a direct download of the item.

1-12 How Long Do I Have to Download/Re-Download My Item?
If you are within 30 days of the original download date, then you may download the item for a second time without spending any additional credits. However if you are using the item for a new project, you must repurchase the item from the download page. You can re-download an item directly from your “My Downloads” section.

1-13 How Long Are My Credits Good For?
Unused credits will expire 1 year from purchase.

1-14 How Do I Give Feedback on My Download?
Each product detail page will allow you to leave both a rating and a comment on a product. You can also interact with the product designer/owner through this comment system.

2. FAQS for Custom Project Buyers
2-1 What Are Custom Projects?
A custom project is a sort of a “reverse freelance” job post system, where you are able to view the results of the project before you pick a winner. You simply post a job brief of your needs, and pick the one that fits best.

2-2 How Do I Start a Custom Project?
Simply visit the Custom Project section and select the options applicable to your needs.

2-3 How much does it Cost to Start a Custom Project?
There are various pricing options for setting up a project listing. Please see the custom project page directly for further details.

2-4 What if I Don’t Like Any of the Project Submissions?
If you do not like the options provided for your custom project submissions, there is no obligation to select a winner or pay a provider.

2-5 Do I Own the Work Delivered from a Custom Project?
You have the option to elect to become the exclusive owner of a custom project that is designed for you.

2-6 How do I Pay the Custom Project Winner?
Currently, you will pay the designer directly. You will provide the method of payment upfront when you create the project listing.

3. FAQs for Product Sellers
3-1 Who Owns the Work I Submit?
You maintain all rights and copyrights over all of the work that you submit for sale.

3-2 How Do I Upload my Items?
After you have created a free account, you will be able to upload files through your web browser or through an FTP account. If you upload your products through FTP, then you will still need to complete your record on the product upload page here.

3-3 How and When Do I Get Paid?
You can specify your desired method of payment, as well as your payout minimum, on the Commission Payout Options link under your “My FresherImage” administration section.

3-4 How Much Do I Earn per Sale?
Commission rates will vary based on a tiered schedule. Please see the below page for current commission rates.

3-5 Can I Remove My Work from Your Site at Any Time?
Yep. You own it, and if you do not want to sell if on FresherImage, you can remove it at any time.

3-6 How Do I Make Changes/Corrections/Updates to My Work?
You can make alterations to your product by visiting the Manage My Product link within the “My FresherImage” section of your account.

3-7 Can I Use Stock Images and Fonts in My Designs?
Stock images and fonts are allowed only when licensed correctly and when the license allows the items to be used in the product type you are making. Some basic licenses on stock sites allow the use of their images in templates, some require extended licenses, and some strictly prohibit the use of their items and do not allow the transfer of a license. When in doubt if you are allowed to include a font, photo, or image, ask.

3-8 Am I Responsible for Supporting My Products?
Yes, since you are the designer and owner of the item, you are responsible for supporting the customers that download it.

3-9 What Documentation Do I Need to Provide with My Product?
You need to disclose the sources that you used for your fonts and images, and include specific ID numbers. In some cases, user documentation may also be needed or helpful that will provide details to customers on how to use the item.

3-10 Why Was My Item Rejected?
Items may be rejected because they did not include license information for their images or fonts, or if their aesthetics did not meet the current needs of the website. If your item was not accepted, then we will attempt to provide you with feedback on the reason.

3-11 Are Adult Oriented Items Allowed on Your Website?
Adult oriented items are accepted, however you must click the box disclosing the product as adult when uploading it to the website.

3-12 How Do I Become a Designer or the Week or Have My Designs Featured?
Typically, we select designers that have provided a truly exemplary product or have shown outstanding traction in the marketplace.

3-13 Why Would I Make My Product Free?
By donating free content, you have the opportunity to show potential customers the value of your work, and receive additional exposure for your portfolio.

3-14 Who Determines the Price of the Item Sold?
When you upload your item to the marketplace, you are permitted to suggest a price, and are provided with a pricing guide to help keep your item at fair market value. If for some reason your product is way out of market range in one direction or another, a product manager retains the right to adjust the price of your item.

3-15 What is the Buyout Price Option?
The buyout price allows you to charge a higher fee to give a customer the right to remove the item from the website and no longer be sold. If you are selling the same item on other marketplaces, it is expected that the item will be removed from circulation altogether when a buyout has been made, so do not add a buyout price unless you are prepared to stop selling the item at your selected buyout price.

4-3 Can I Use Stock Images and Fonts in My Designs?
